Cement Mixer - Group Show : November 2011
Tuesday, 1st November 2011
We present our Winter round up - with a focus on the more abstract,
graphic artists under our banner. All four artists blend a range of materials in their work and this show brings you their most recent, graphic pieces - each in their own unique style.

Wednesday 23rd November
6.00pm - 10.00pm
24th November - 29th November 2011
11am - 7pm daily.
Clockwise from top left - David Shillinglaw, Eelus, Olivier Vrancken & Mark McClure.
Eelus has amassed a following for his stencilled works - often falling on the darker side. Easing off the stencil pedal in recent months to follow other routes - he has recently exhibited papercut work in Stolen Space’s group shows and collaborated with Sickboy for his Heaven & Earth exhibition.
Mark McClure>
Moving on from his usual collage and painting works, Mark has looked to push towards constructing his graphic, structural works directly out of wood. These striking, original pieces seem to be the natural next step into three dimensions for the graphic artist.
David Shillinglaw>
David has had a busy year - with two London exhibitions, including our own extremely well received “All You’ll Ever Need”, a residency in Capetown and a solo show in Rotterdam. His busy, often anatomical works have a wide appeal for their humour, wordplay and his striking use of colour.
Olivier Vrancken>
His surreal, abstract figures suggest a dream state and stream of consciousness. With a recent exhibition “Down the Rabbit Hole” at Nice Nice in Hannover and new works becoming both larger and more exploratory in style - the Belgian is going from strength to strength.
