Cless

  • Biography
One of our original Cement favourites - born in Valladolid, currently living and working in Madrid, Spain - the work of Cless is fast becoming recognised for his attention to detail and incredible use of graphic composition.

Inspired by the New-York Wild Style in the mid-seventies, Cless originally started with graffiti and moved into collage about 5 years ago. His style soon evolved - inspired by the likes of Andy Warhol, Lichtenstein, anti artistic movements like Dadaism and of course Eduardo Recife - and now more recently the likes of Neasden Control centre.

His creative arsenal now embraces collage, design and illustration - resulting in a prolific output of work. The past 2 years have seen his work go from strength to strength - published in magazines and newspapers like El País and shown in independent galleries in Paris, London, Berlin and Brooklyn - including our own show in London Fields.
